National Careers Week 1st March - 6th March 2021

To celebrate National Careers Week, Oakley College is running a timetable of Employability Workshops. They involve representatives from the National Careers Service and The Education People. Find out how we are contributing to National Careers Week.

Careers at Oakley College

Careers and employability skills are embedded into the College curriculum. As part of the careers programme we are able to provide high quality careers information, advice and guidance.

Oakley College careers programme has 10 different sections that all come together as part of the careers offer to all PfA levels. It follows guidance from “The 8 Gatsby Benchmarks” .

Linking Curriculum to Careers

Employability Skills are embedded in all sessions.

Our learners are at the heart of what we do, and their futures and aspirations drive our curriculum. Our broad and balanced learning programmes are designed to meet the needs of each individual. We provide a safe, caring and motivating learning environment and support them to secure a wide range of skills and knowledge that will enable them to gain employment, contribute to society and lead fulfilling and productive lives.
